After becoming a Firefighter, Anthony Dooley found his schedule fit perfect with operating his own tree service.
We have made it a tradition to attend the annual “Saluting Branches” event where we volunteer our services and equipment at Leavenworth National Cemetery. We see it as an opportunity to give back to those who have given all for us.View Video
Tips for choosing a
tree service company
Anthony Dooley, owner of Dooley Brother's Tree feels very strongly about selecting an ethical and honest company to protect yourself and your property.
Here are some tips:
- License and insurance –It is very important to make sure the company is licensed and insured. Ask to see the certificate and call the company to ensure it is not expired if you have reservations. Additionally, confirm they have Workman’s comp insurance as well. You can be held liable in certain situations if an accident occurs.
- Arboriculture - Make sure the team is educated in arboriculture. Ask how they plan on trimming your tree. If you are having your tree trimmed or pruned and not removed, make sure they are not using spikes or gaffs to climb your tree. This will damage the cambium of the tree and make it susceptible to disease or fungus to enter your tree and kill it. There are companies that will tell you it is okay, these people are just in it for the money and do not care about your trees or property.
- Reviews – Check the Internet and Google Business for reviews. Any legitimate and reputable company will have business links and good reviews.
- References – Ask for references and pictures of previous projects.
