Dooley Brother’s Tree was founded in 2006 by owner Anthony Dooley. He started it as part-time job to supplement his income while pursuing a career as a firefighter and attending night classes at a local fire academy.
After becoming a firefighter, Anthony found his new schedule of 24-hours on and 48-hours off fit perfect with operating his own business.
Anthony currently holds a position with the Kansas City Fire Department working on a rescue company trained in technical rescue and special response.
When Anthony initially started his company it was mainly a lawn care service offering very minor tree maintenance. He quickly realized that tree care and arboriculture was his passion outside of firefighting and a few years ago Dooley Brothers Tree transitioned to operating solely as a tree service.
Anthony set out to reach his next goal and is now a certified arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture. Anthony continues to advance his skills and knowledge by receiving training from industry experts all over the country. Most recent classes have been attended at the Alabama Urban Forestry Association in Alabama, Tree Care Industry Association annual conference in Ohio, and the International Society of Arboriculture Midwest Conference in Kansas.
Anthony and his team take pride in their work and truly care about the health and proper maintenance of trees. They strive for excellence and believe in doing what is right for their clients.
Anthony loves Kansas City and it is important to him that he and his company supports and gives back to the community. They have made it a tradition to attend the annual Saluting Branches event and volunteer their services and equipment at Leavenworth national cemetery. They see it as an opportunity to give back to those who have given all for us.
